Ministering to Bereaved Seafarers Leads to Bible Distribution

On the 16th of January, the port agent for the Norwegian Cruise Line came by the ministry.  He asked Pastor Vasiley if a funeral could be held for a crew member that had passed away on the Encore.  Pastor Vasiley said he could conduct the service.  The next day he met with a group of sad Filipinos whose friend had passed away.  He shared God’s word and the hope of the Gospel.  Some of them prayed to receive Christ!  Later Pastor Vasiley asked about bringing a box of Bibles in different languages for the crew and was told he could deliver Bibles to all of the NCL ships in Miami.  What an encouraging experience!    The longer the ministry is here the more the port recognizes how we can assist.  We are looking for staff members, volunteers and funds to purchase the Bibles and materials we share.  Is the Lord calling you to get involved?  Contact us for more information.
